Modern property with an acclaimed culinary program is seeking an Executive Chef. Ideal for a chef who enjoys creating dynamic, event-driven menus and special dinners, driving seasonal changes within a structured F&B program, and building strong local vendor relationships. Executive Chef Responsibilities include:
- Create innovative dinner pairings in partnership with the beverage program, including guest chef dinners and special culinary events
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing kitchen team while fostering a positive, professional work environment
- Collaborate on menu development and execute dishes at the highest quality standards
- Manage culinary administration, including ordering, inventory, scheduling, and staffing
- Proactively control food, labor, and operating costs, effectively cross-utilizing products while maintaining quality standards
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices
Executive Chef Preferred Requirements:
- 1 year of senior culinary leadership as an Executive Chef of a boutique property or 3 years as a Chef de Cuisine or Executive Sous Chef at a leading multifaceted restaurant or luxury hotel
- Experience in chef driven, ingredient driven kitchens is required
- Background in a boutique or luxury hotel environment, Michelin Key or Forbes experience preferred
- Passion for delivering elevated guest experiences
- Proven experience managing inventory, cost controls, and P&L performance
- Strong leadership presence with excellent communication and team-building skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to the property’s needs as they arise
Compensation includes:
- Base Salary in the range of $90k-$105k, with room to come up to $110k for a proven leader
