An established, ingredient-driven Mediterranean & Italian restaurant is looking for a Sous Chef to join its culinary leadership team. The menu focuses on fresh seafood, handcrafted pastas, and simply prepared grilled meats, rooted in seasonal, locally sourced ingredients.
This is a hands-on role for a Sous Chef who enjoys being on the line, leading by example, and supporting the team day to day. Mediterranean or Italian experience and fresh pasta-making skills are a big plus.

Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and coach the team
- Ensure all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
- Support Executive Chef wherever possible
- Maintain proper ordering, inventory and scheduling
- Ensure best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
Sous Chef Preferred Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Previous experience in all scratch Italian cuisine including in-house pasta making a plus
- Ability to execute high-quality dishes consistently in high-volume kitchen
- Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation / Benefits:
- $75k-$85k base salary
