The team is looking to hire a passionate, service-driven Director of Operations to oversee two of their higher volume fine dining restaurants in Central Hong Kong.     Responsibilities Include:

    • Oversee and positively impact all areas of the business including: sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation
    • Collaborate with culinary and corporate teams to maintain the highest-quality food and beverage offerings, and exceptional guest experiences
    • Develop/improve upon and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to increase consistency, efficiency, and quality of guest experience
    • Maintain a strong presence in the restaurants on a regular basis and on the floor during service alongside the FOH teams

    Candidate Requirements:

    • 3-5+ years’ experience as a Restaurant General Manager (GM), Multi-Unit GM, Service Director, FOH General Manager, Food & Beverage (F&B) Director, Director of Restaurants, or comparable management title in a full-service, upscale or fine dining restaurant concept is required
    • Diverse restaurant experience preferably in respected, premium, chef-driven restaurant concepts
    • Prior international experience/exposure is a big plus

    Unique private chef role with a small family outside of Pittsburgh. This position is limited in creativity, but has a strong quality of life component with a five day a week schedule and forty hour work weeks.

    While the creative components are not as robust, the emphasis on quality, execution, and consistency are there – including sourcing from a family farm that features produce, apiary, and livestock!

    Prior private chef experience is not required. However, a solid restaurant or luxury/boutique hotel background is required (any Michelin, James Beard, or Forbes rated experience is highly preferred). As such, very open to responsible chefs with a great attitude, that are looking for a better schedule and to branch into private cheffing.

This technique-driven counter service concept is searching for a Culinary Director to drive R&D, training, and development.
