An international award-winning hospitality group is seeking an accomplished Group Executive Pastry Chef to lead its pastry program across a diverse portfolio of restaurants and bakery concepts in Hong Kong. The role will oversee menu development, drive innovation, and ensure exceptional execution through the mentorship of the pastry team.

Responsibilities
- Oversee the central pastry production kitchen and through extension, the restaurants’ in-house pastry teams to ensure consistent quality across all locations
- Support the growth of the group’s existing brands and future concepts
- Develop new menus and seasonal offerings in collaboration with senior leadership across the portfolio
- Collaborate on ideation for new concepts
- Own pastry kitchen P&Ls, budgets, inventories, and cost controls, identifying operational efficiencies
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and alignment with company core principles
Requirements
- 3-4+ years of multiunit pastry experience as a Corporate Pastry Chef, Regional Pastry Chef or Group Executive Pastry Chef
- Strong knowledge of pastry, viennoiserie, frozen desserts, and chocolate. Bread experience is a plus!
- Ability to relocate internationally and commit to vis sponsorship (two-year visa)
- Experience managing pastry operations across multiple locations or concepts
- World’s 50 Best, Michelin, or James Beard experience in the past is a bonus!
- Proven leadership, team building, and mentorship skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Clear and effective communicator with high emotional intelligence
- Demonstrates financial acumen with experience managing P&Ls and labor budgets
- Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary in the range of approximately USD $125k-$150k annually (based on fluctuating currency rates and paid in HKD)
