Longstanding restaurant group with a large bakery component is seeking passionate FOH Managers and Assistant FOH Managers to join their team! Candidates should be flexible on location, but they are generally looking for one candidate for their Northside LA-based locations, and two candidates for Southside LA. Title will be determined upon hire depending on experience level. This is a VERY popular and highly successful company with a loyal following, and a very exciting opportunity to join an established group that is still actively growing!
The ideal candidate will be energetic, eager to grow and learn, and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should also be familiar with managing large teams of over 100+ as this role will be responsible for supporting oversight of all front of house staff & operations. Additional responsibilities include assisting with training, enforcing policies and procedures, overseeing the floor, and upholding high standards of guest satisfaction. Very open to someone earlier on in their career who is thoughtful, intelligent, and articulate, with the ability to learn new things quickly and take direction while leading the team by example. A strong up and coming manager that has shown solid career progression and longevity thus far in their career would be most ideal. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree are also highly preferred. This person must be able to work a flexible schedule, and days off will rotate but are reasonable. NO late nights!
FOH Manager/Assistant FOH Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the FOH team and manage all front of house staff and guests with a focus on logistics and productivity
- Ensure quality and consistency of all products served
- Contribute to controlling costs and maximizing efficiencies
- Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Provide an excellent guest experience and resolve all guest issues
- Hold the team accountable to high standards while remaining hands on and leading by example
- Ensure the team is well educated on the menu items

- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements
Candidate Qualifications:
- 6-8+ years of progressive experience in a high-volume, preferably upscale fast-casual or full-service restaurant operation is required; with at least 2-3 years’ experience in a management role (i.e. Assistant Restaurant General Manager (AGM), FOH Manager, Service Manager, Senior Manager, Restaurant Manager, Hospitality Manager, or comparable restaurant management role
- Fast casual and/or upscale-casual restaurant experience is highly preferred
- Some prior experience to high-volume restaurant service/management is required
- Corporate restaurant background with a strong foundation in systems is a big plus
- Bachelor’s degree is VERY strongly preferred
