Floor Manager – Established Hospitality & Lifestyle Group

Popular Los Angeles Restaurant and Bar Group is seeking talented Floor Managers to join their team and help oversee their various restaurants and venues. This thriving group boasts multiple popular concepts throughout the Los Angeles area and is actively growing. The team is seeking professional and committed candidates to join them in their growth, while supporting service, hospitality, and management operations. This role will work closely with the GM at respective locations to help with staffing, flow of service, and specific location needs. It is imperative that candidates have an energized floor presence to lead by example and create both memorable experiences and streamlined service. Prior nightlife experience is highly preferred. Floor Manager Responsibilities:

  • Help oversee the FOH team in collaboration with the GM
  • Perform all aspects of the job with a high level of professionalism and integrity
  • Establish positive work culture
  • Ensure the team is well educated on menu items
  • Provide Support for GM in a positive manner
  • Encourage opportunities for the team to learn and grow
  • Continually strive to educate and develop of staff as it relates to food, beverage, and service
  • Ensure stellar guest experience in all areas
  • Maintain, support, and promote company culture and philosophies
  • Take initiative and help to build business
  • Contribute to controlling costs and maximizing efficiencies
  • Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Provide an excellent guest experience and resolve all guest issues
  • Hold the team accountable to high standards while remaining hands on and leading by example
  • Ensure the team is well educated on the menu items
  • Hire, train, motivate and coach team members
  • Assess employee performance and providing helpful feedback and training opportunities
  • Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and deliver prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures
  • Understand and comply with CA labor laws

Floor Manager Requirements:

  • Minimum 2-3+ years of experience as Restaurant Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, Nightlife Manager, Dining Room Manager, FOH Manager, Hospitality Manager, or comparable management role in an upscale, full service restaurant, bar, or lounge concept
  • Nightlife experience highly preferred
  • Passion for food, beverage, hospitality, and working with people
  • Basic understanding of administrative functions and controlling cost of goods
  • High attention to detail
  • Energetic, positive, reliable and dependable
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to guests and support to staff members
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Comfortability engaging with VIP and HNW clientele
  • Computer proficiency, including the use of Microsoft office
  • Experience and comfortability in dealing with high end/VIP clientele
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, closing shifts, and late nights
  • Food safety certification

Compensation Package Includes:

  • Base Salary in the $80-85k range DOE
