Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:
- Create unique, memorable dishes using only the highest caliber ingredients in collaboration with leadership
- Ensure all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
- Day to day management of kitchen providing exemplary leadership to the team
- Participate in hiring and training of culinary team members
- Maintain proper ordering, scheduling and inventory
- Follow and enforce best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
Chef de Cuisine Requirements & Preferences:
- 2+ years’ experience as a Senior Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, CDC, Executive Chef or 3+ years as a Sous Chef
- Past steak and raw seafood experience in respected ingredient-driven scratch kitchens
- Live-fire cooking experience
- Hands-on and ability to thrive in a lean team environment
- Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
- Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
- Knowledge of managing inventory, and cost controls
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and on holidays
Compensation / Benefits:
- Base Salary in the $85k-$100k range
