Successful Los Angeles-based restaurant group is looking to add a Talent Acquisition Manager to their team who will split time remotely and in-office. A background in recruiting and the hospitality industry will be beneficial to focus on brand awareness, candidate sourcing, and meeting coordination to attract quality candidates to fill jobs faster and easier. This role will collaborate with the Director of HR and the schedule will be primarily Monday – Friday, 9am-5pm or 6pm as necessary.

Responsibilities include:

  • Work with operations team to source great candidates
  • Develop strategy to source and connect with new potential candidates via various channels
  • Create and integrate standard recruitment process for company
  • Administrative duties, including resume revisions and coordinating meetings for candidates
  • Assist the team in writing job advertisements and job descriptions
  • Create social media content for special advertised positions
  • Assist in developing marketing materials

Candidate Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Recruiter, recruitment manager, or talent acquisition manager in the restaurant / hospitality industry
  • Open to candidates without prior recruiting/talent acquisition experience who have an established career in restaurants/hospitality and strong knowledge of restaurant operations
  • Please note that restaurant and/or hospitality industry experience is REQUIRED for this role
  • Genuine interest in people and the satisfaction that comes with helping them
  • Understanding of how voice and tone are essential to communication and brand perception
  • A knack for creative writing
  • Experience in a cross functional role and driving projects with senior management
  • Attention to detail, impeccable organizational skills, multi-tasking abilities, communication skills
  • Responsible and self-motivated individual with effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Curiosity and creativity to learn and try new things to make an even greater impact
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
  • Passion for and knowledge of the hospitality industry, restaurants, and the Chef community
  • Ability to own multiple tasks or projects concurrently with changing priorities
  • Creative problem-solving skills with an innovative mindset
  • A genuine interest in social media with the ability to attract followers and keep them engaged
  • Proficient in use of computers and Microsoft Office
  • Experience working in restaurants in any capacity preferred
