This popular spot is known for its variety of morning breads and pastries, local artisan coffee, wood-fired pizzas, handmade pastas and an ever-evolving menu of small plates and seasonally inspired dishes. Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Leading and mentoring a strong culinary team, including hands on in the kitchen and on the line
  • Collaborate with and support the culinary management team (Executive Chef , CDC, hourly employees)
  • Proper ordering and inventory
  • Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
  • Keeping track of new trends in the industry

Sous Chef Preferred Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar position (Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, Kitchen Supervisor, Junior Sous)
  • High-volume experience is required
  • Love for unique, quality, locally sourced ingredients
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Highly motivated, passionate, and have a strong sense of humility
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
