Intimate, modern, and aesthetically gorgeous new Japanese concept is debuting! Looking for a Sous Chef with prior Japanese cuisine and sushi experience to round out the star team. 

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining proper ordering, scheduling and inventory
  • Follow direction of Executive Chef and Chef de Cuisine
  • Day to day management of kitchen and team
  • Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen

Sous Chef Preferred Requirements:

  • 1-2+ years working in a supervisor or culinary manager role (sous chef, KM, assistant kitchen manager, junior Sous chef)
  • Experience managing and leading a team
  • Passion for culinary and teaching others
  • Knowledge of ordering and inventory systems
  • Some background in independent, chef driven environments
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Desire and willingness to learn
  • High standards of safety, cleanliness and sanitation
