Award-winning, celebrated staple owned by a legendary culinary master is seeking a Sous Chef to join their team! The menu delivers innovation at every level through its elevated steaks, specialty cocktails, and chic ambiance. Looking for someone who cares deeply about both guest experience and top-quality food. Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for maintaining proper ordering, scheduling, and inventory
  • Creating prep lists for the staff and oversee BOH team
  • Working cleanly, efficiently, and with respect for ingredients 
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and service standards 
  • Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition 
  • Motivating the staff and providing exemplary leadership to the team
  • Maintain a positive, work environment via effective, professional communication with other employees and managers 

Executive Sous Chef Preferred Requirements:

  • Past experience as a Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine in a comparable concept
  • Extensive exposure to working with steaks and grill temperatures, prior steakhouse experience a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Ability to take and give direction
  • Previous experience in an all scratch kitchen
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Knowledge of general administrative functions such as ordering, inventory, scheduling, and performance management
  • Any P&L exposure is a bonus!
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
