Chef and Restaurateur is seeking a Service Director to oversee multiple locations. This is an extremely unique and exciting role that will be responsible for overseeing service, hospitality, and overall culture of restaurants within the group. The focus for the Service Director will be managing floor leads, staffing, and scheduling. It is imperative for this candidate to love people, being out in restaurants, teaching, mentoring, and creating consistent training across all restaurants. Developing staff and service protocols is imperative.

This is the perfect multi-unit role for anyone with a great eye for detail who genuinely geeks out on service, training, and has a love for providing consistent and genuine hospitality. A fun role for the true hospitality-minded, passionate people-person lover! 

Responsibilities Include:

  • Work to standardize any manuals or forms that can better help streamline operations through the restaurants
  • Train staff and streamline practices to create consistency and standards across each venue
  • Monitor restaurant performance to identify emerging trends and areas of opportunity, including new technology or service models
  • Provide structures, support and training for new restaurant projects and help evaluate potential opportunities
  • Exceptionally detail oriented with ability to streamline vibes, music, and guest experiences
  • Dedicated to guest service, experience, and retention of regulars and creating new clients

Candidate Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience as an Operations Manager or Area Manager, Director of Operations/Hospitality, Multi-unit Manager/GM, or Operating Partner (preferably in a restaurant and/or bar setting) or 5+ years General Manager
  • Strategic background with a passion for hospitality and the ability to oversee multiple GMs
  • Must have reliable personal transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
  • Must be able to work flexible hours necessary to manage and operate the restaurant effectively
  • Requires long stretches of standing, occasional carrying, pushing, or pulling of items up to 50 lbs in weight
