Stunning and expansive West Side Restaurant is seeking a highly talented Lead Line Cook to come on board with potential to grow into a Sous Chef. This is an incredible opportunity to work on a team with Michelin star aspirations (and from acclaimed backgrounds!).

Responsibilities include:

  • Creating incredible food of the highest caliber
  • Assisting with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • Plating prepared foods based on the Executive Chef’s guidance
  • Washing and cleaning the kitchen and cooking utensils and storing the equipment at the end of shifts
  • Ensuring that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations

Lead Line Cook Preferred Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience as a chef de partie, demi sous chef, junior sous chef, tournant, or lead line cook
  • Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong organization and active listening skills
  • The ability to work on your feet for most of the day 
  • Exceptional time management skills
