Salary: $85000 – $125000
Highly reputable, approachable restaurant group is opening a new dynamic American concept in Q4/2025 in a prime location and is seeking a talented Executive Chef to lead the team. The ideal chef will have a strong pedigree, exceptional leadership abilities, and a sharp eye for operational excellence. Training will be provided for the Executive Chef to learn the organization’s procurement systems, core menu recipes, company culture, and other administrative functions. Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
- Proactively manage costs and budgets
- Ensure all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
- Hiring, training, mentoring and development of culinary team members
- Spearhead opening efforts in alignment with the systems and SOP’s of the organization
- Maintain proper ordering and inventory
- Follow best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
Executive Chef Preferred Requirements:
- 4+ years’ experience as an Executive Chef of a high-volume concept OR Culinary Director, Regional Chef or Corporate Chef
- Proven experience in all-scratch, respected and esteemed restaurants
- Composure and ability to execute food at a high level in a high-volume environment
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and comfortable in a high visibility role with leadership
- Past opening experience preferred
- Passion for mentoring and developing their team and excellent communication skills
- Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
- Expert knowledge and fully fluent in P&L, managing inventory, and cost controls
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
Compensation / Benefits:
- Base Salary in the range of $85-125k
