Trendy high-end steakhouse opening in Las Vegas is looking for an Executive Chef to lead the culinary team. The ideal candidate will have high-volume chophouse experience overseeing 5 MIL+ operations and a firm grasp of managing costs.  Training in Los Angeles is required. Great opportunity to work in a larger respected hospitality group that is actively growing! 

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
  • Proactively manage costs and budgets
  • Ensure all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Maintain proper ordering and inventory
  • Follow best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen

 

Executive Chef Preferred Requirements:

  • Past experience as an Executive Chef, Head Chef, or Chef de Cuisine overseeing a steakhouse with at least 5 MIL in volume
  • Proven experience in all-scratch kitchens
  • Familiarity with Las Vegas market
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Composure and ability to execute food at a high level in a high-volume environment
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Expert knowledge and fully fluent in P&L, managing inventory, and cost controls
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays

 

Compensation / Benefits:

  • Base Salary in the range of $120k-150k
