Expanding artisan bread company is seeking a well-rounded Assistant General Manager to help lead the team at their newest location. This owner operated, team focused group uses the freshest ingredients to create their superior product with strong, well-oiled systems in place. Looking for someone with a proven background in premium fast-casual concepts, basic financial knowledge, and a warm, guest-facing personality. This role will work closely with the GM to streamline operations, service, and train/develop a strong, cohesive team. Any BOH experience is a big plus, but not absolutely required. Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Perform all aspects of the job with a high level of professionalism and integrity
  • Establish positive work culture

  • Maintain cooperative relationships with all vendors, business partners, and staff
  • Encourage opportunities for the team to learn and grow
  • Continually strive to educate and develop of staff as it relates to food, beverage, and service
  • Ensure stellar guest experience in all areas
  • Solve any guest issues in a timely and appropriate manner
  • Oversee and positively impact all areas of the business including: sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Ensure quality and consistency of all products served
  • Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition.
  • Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and deliver prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements

Assistant General Manager Qualifications:

  • 2+ years’ experience as Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) or 3+ years as a Restaurant Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, Dining Room Manager, FOH Manager in an upscale fast casual restaurant concept
  • Any prior exposure to BOH is a plus
  • Spanish proficiency a plus
  • Strong leader and motivator to the staff and management

  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
  • Food safety certification

Compensation Package Includes:

  • Base salary in the $70-75k range DOE
