Growing Southern California group with a loyal following is looking to bring on board a talented Commissary Kitchen Manager with experience in large scale high-volume production, commissary kitchens, logistics and purchasing. Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:

  • Ensure food production within the facility is on time and meets established standards of the company
  • Oversee vendor relationships, purchasing, logistics, and inventory
  • Pricing for proper cost management of the transfer of products to restaurants
  • Oversee staff, including production scheduling, hiring, training, leading and developing the team
  • Maintain a positive work environment through effective, professional communication with other employees and managers 
  • Maintain safety & sanitation of commissary kitchen

Kitchen Manager Requirements:

  • 3-4 years’ prior experience in a management role of a large-scale high-volume production facility or commissary kitchen  (i.e. Commissary Chef, Production Chef, Catering Commissary Chef)
  • Experience in vendor relations, purchasing, and logistics
  • Detail orientation with a focus on food quality, food safety and sanitation
  • Organized approach to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely productivity
  • Competence with systems, computer programs and the ability to problem solve and course correct as needed
  • Flexible schedule: mornings, nights, weekends, holidays

Compensation Includes:
