Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the recipes, portioning, cooking and serving standards of the company.
- Proper ordering, receiving, and inventory
- Support the culinary management team
- Leading, mentoring and coaching a strong team, including hands on in the kitchen
- Maintain a positive, work environment via effective, professional communication with other employees and managers
- Follow best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen to assure compliance with local health department and company standard.
Sous Chef Requirements:
- 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
- Comfortable cooking with various proteins and grill temperatures
- Previous experience in an all-scratch kitchen
- Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
- Ability to thrive and lead a team in a high-pressure environment
- Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Compensation includes:
- Base salary in the $72,500-$77,500 range
