Popular restaurant group with a large bakery element is seeking a Kitchen Manager for their Eastside location. Consistently high-volume kitchen experience is a must! KM Responsibilities:
- Ensure that all food and products meet the highest standards of quality and consistency in a high-volume setting
- Administrative duties to include: ordering, receiving, quality control and inventory of all kitchen items
- Labor cost controls: scheduling staff as needed based on business trends to meet set goals
- Proactively lead, mentor and coach the team
- Create a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect, and employee satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization along with the safety of all work areas
KM Requirements:
- 3 years of experience as Executive Chef, Exec Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or Kitchen Manager
- High volume experience is highly preferred
- Spanish proficiency highly preferred
- Passion for high-quality food and the ability to ensure its consistent execution in a high-volume environment
- Collaborative mentality and enjoys a team environment
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to genuinely motivate others
- Experience in P&L review, food cost and labor budgetary controls, and strict inventory
- Flexible schedule to include mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
Compensation / Benefits:
- $25.50-33.50 per hour with a typically 50-hour work week with bonus that comes out to $90-$100k total compensation
