Salary: $80000 – $85000
Popular all-day concept known for their seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine is seeking an experienced, service-minded Assistant General Manager to join the team at their newest location opening soon in the San Fernando Valley. The company is very big on culture, and they are looking for like-minded people with a true love for hospitality to grow and develop with their team. Assistant General Manager Responsibilities:
- Oversee the FOH team
- Perform all aspects of the job with a high level of professionalism and integrity
- Establish positive work culture
- Provide Support for GM
- Maintain cooperative relationships with all vendors, business partners, and staff
- Encourage opportunities for the team to learn and grow
- Continually strive to educate and develop of staff as it relates to food, beverage, and service
- Ensure stellar guest experience in all areas
- Solve any guest issues in a timely and appropriate manner
- Oversee and positively impact all areas of the business including: sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ensure quality and consistency of all products served
- Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition.
- Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and deliver prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
- Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety, and labor requirements
Assistant General Manager Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience as Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) or 4+ years as a Restaurant Manager, Senior Manager, Food & Beverage Manager, Dining Room Manager, FOH Manager in an upscale fast casual or full-service restaurant concept
- Any opening experience a plus
- An infectious, positive attitude and outstanding hospitality skills
- Energetic and dynamic personality
- The ability to lead, manage and train a staff of 40 or more team members
- Strong leader and motivator to the staff and management

- Strong knowledge of food, wine, craft cocktail culture, and current industry trends
- Able to stand/walk for long periods of time
- Develops relationships with guests to create & maintain guest retention
- Food Safety Certification
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays as needed
Compensation Package:
- Base Salary in the $80-85k range DOE
- Quarterly Bonus Potential
