Highly reputable, approachable restaurant group is seeking a motivated Regional Chef for their crowd-pleasing Mexican concept. This is a traditional multi-unit role in which the chef will mentor and develop their teams at the restaurant level building on standards, metrics, and training procedures to cultivate sound kitchen operations. *This role will require 25-50% travel*

Regional Chef Responsibilities:

  • Lead and facilitate training solutions for chef and staff development
  • Develop and implement kitchen productivity standards and metrics to improve culinary operations performance
  • Mentor, train and coach employees at the store level in methods of cooking, preparation, plating, portion and cost control, and sanitation/cleanliness
  • Ensure the integrity of food recipes and that execution is upheld
  • Budget planning, forecast, and overall P&L responsibility for BOH operations
  • Recruitment, hiring, and training of key management level chefs
  • Guide food safety & sanitation efforts and maintain exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety

Regional Chef Preferred Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Multiunit Chef, or Regional Chef Background
  • Background in Mexican cuisine a plus
  • Enjoys keeping up with new trends and values tried-and-true flavors
  • MUST have a desire to be hands-on in training and development
  • Passionate, energetic and operations oriented
  • Passionate about growing individual employees and providing a positive work environment
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays

Compensation Package Includes:

  • Base Salary in the Range of $115-135k + Bonus
