Popular Westside concept is seeking an Executive Chef/CDC (flex on title) who loves working with market driven produce and has creative freedom in collaboration with ownership. The menu offers seasonally inspired small plates and a robust wine collection. The atmosphere is relaxed with great service – a total Westside staple! **Full medical coverage!**

Chef de Cuisine/Exec Chef Responsibilities:

  • Deliver soulful, thoughtful food that is consistent with company standards
  • Collaborate with and support the team keeping an eye on current trends and seasonal ingredients
  • Scheduling, hiring, training and mentoring culinary team members
  • Proactively manage orders, inventory, costs, and budgets
  • Follow best practices and uphold high standards for safety and sanitation in the kitchen

Chef de Cuisine/Exec Chef Preferred Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position (Senior Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, CDC)
  • Passion for California ingredients and using locally sourced products whenever possible
  • Familiar with cost control measures, ordering, vendor management, invoices, scheduling, hiring, performance management
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities: team focused, and people driven
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety regulations
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays

Compensation/Benefits Include:

  • Base Salary Range of $85-95k
  • Fully covered health benefits
