Popular California fast-casual pizza concept is seeking a General Manager to join & lead the team at their newest location in Los Angeles! This very successful concept is part of a larger restaurant group that is actively growing. Looking for a strong role model who is hands on, driven, and committed to upholding the company’s hospitality standards. The General Manager must possess an owner’s mentality when operating the business, a strong level of financial acumen, and excellent communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate values guest experience and creating processes, in addition to training and developing a strong team. General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and positively impact all areas of the business including: sales, costs, employee retention, guest service and satisfaction, food quality, cleanliness and sanitation
  • Ensure quality and consistency of all products served
  • Ensure all equipment is kept clean and in excellent working condition
  • Guiding and leading the team
  • Having a good floor presence and interacting with guests
  • Creating a positive and fun working environment
  • Create and adjust staff schedules to meet restaurant needs
  • Oversee guest services and resolve issues
  • Developing a positive relationship with guests
  • Create and foster a positive and thriving work environment consistent with company vision and culture
  • Perform all aspects of the job with a high level of professionalism and integrity
  • Taking ownership of the business to increase sales and profitability
  • Increasing brand awareness by creating marketing plans
  • Setting an example to the team by providing excellent hospitality and service at all times
  • Anticipating needs of the restaurant and acting upon them

General Manager Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as Restaurant General Manager (GM), Food & Beverage (F&B) General Manger, FOH General Manager, or FOH Department Manager OR 3-4+ years as Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM) from an upscale fast casual concept
  • Proven track record in leading and motivating a team
  • Passion for food, beverage, and outstanding service
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Experience in managing P&L
  • Flexible schedule

Compensation Package Includes:

  • Base salary in the $80-90k range DOE
