Dinner only! Contemporary Italian concept with California farmer’s market nuances on the Westside is looking for a new Executive Chef. Ideally looking for someone who cut their teeth in Michelin or James Beard caliber restaurants, and now find joy in accessible chef-driven concepts. Experience in busier restaurants is a big plus!

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Menu development in line with seasonal produce and executable at higher volume cover counts
  • Involvement in developing future concepts¬†
  • Fostering a healthy progressive kitchen culture, including hiring, training, and mentorship
  • Delegating and overseeing admin – scheduling, ordering, inventory, P&Ls
  • Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen

Exec Chef Preferred Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position leading a kitchen (Chef de Cuisine, CDC or Executive Chef)
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Chef-driven background of esteemed restaurants, including foundation in Michelin or James Beard acknowledged concepts¬†
  • Creative, innovative thinking
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Experience in managing inventory and cost controls – able to menu cost is imperative!
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays

Compensation includes:

  • Base salary in the $90-110k range DOE
  • $500/mo medical towards plan of choice
  • PTO
  • Future growth
