Distinguished chef-driven Italian concept is looking for a Sous Chef to join their strong award-winning team already in place. Ideal candidates will have experience in acclaimed California Italian concepts and have a passion for top tier Italian cuisine using fresh, seasonal ingredients.


Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Execute dishes of the highest quality using fresh, seasonal ingredients
  • Provide strong leadership: mentoring, coaching, training and developing the team
  • Thoughtful, professional communication in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain proper ordering, inventory and scheduling to meet food cost and labor goals
  • Ensure best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen

Sous Chef Preferred Requirements:

  • 2 years’ experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
  • High caliber Italian cuisine experience
  • Boutique hotel experience a plus
  • Passion for using fresh ingredients whenever possible
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Flexible schedule to include nights, weekends, and holidays

Compensation / Benefits:

  • Base Salary in the $65-75k range
