Salary: $85000 – $110000
Growing and successful group with a loyal following and a substantial bakery component is looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who has experience with the development and implementation of quality and food safety programs. This is a new role for the group as they continue to grow and evolve with their concepts and in-house production facility. The company invests in its people and strongly believes they are the key to their success. This role is based out of Southeast LA.
This requires experience in quality and food safety management in a multiunit retail bakery and/or restaurant setting, with travel between multiple company facilities.
QA Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a quality and food safety program in line with established company and industry standards
- Ensure the highest levels of safe food handling practices are met
- Accomplishes quality assurance goals by monitoring, reviewing, and enforcing operating procedures
- Travel between company properties in Los Angeles and Orange County
- Leads, trains and motivates team members to ensure highest tier standards are met
- Keeping food safety top of mind
- Administration duties such as scheduling, audits and quality control documentation
QA Manager Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in quality assurance and food safety roles with large scale restaurants and/or retail bakeries, with at least 1 year in a leadership/supervisor role
- Multiunit inspection experience preferred
- Detail oriented, excellent organizational and analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Able to travel locally
- Able to work a flexible schedule
Compensation Package Includes:
- Base Salary in the range of $85-110k
