Acclaimed luxury hotel is seeking an F&B Manager to help oversee their rooftop restaurant outlet. The concept is relatively high volume in the summer months, and features a seasonal Californian menu using only top tier ingredients alongside stunning views of the city. Looking for someone who can assimilate into managing a tenured team of hourly staff, with an elegant floor presence and strong leadership skills. Candidates should have a strong understanding of steps of service in order to deliver a high-caliber guest experience. Any prior luxury hotel experience and/or fine dining experience a plus.

F&B Manager Requirements:

  • Oversee the FOH team
  • Responsible for hiring, managing, training, orientations, and teamwork
  • Ensuring the team has ample opportunities to learn and grow
  • Maintains a strong floor presence when interacting with guests
  • Cultivates and maintains relationships among guests and team members
  • Provides top-tier customer service at all times
  • Supervises staffing levels to verify that guest service, operational needs, and financial objective are met
  • Takes proactive approaches when dealing with guest concerns and leads by example
  • Communicates areas that need attention to staff and follows up to verify understanding
  • Develops specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish work
  • Encourages and builds mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years as an Outlets Manager, Food & Beverage Manager (F&B), Floor Manager, Restaurant Manager, or Service Manager in an upscale or fine dining environment
  • Luxury Hotel experience preferred
  • Needs to be able to train, manage and schedule, staff accordingly
  • Passion for food and beverage
  • Passion for service and interacting with guests
  • High attention to detail and process oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong interpersonal, leadership, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Comfortability in dealing with high-end and VIP clientele
  • Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Ability to analyze processes and information, identify problems and trends, and develop effective solutions and strategies
  • Commitment to providing exceptional service to guests and support to staff members
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays

Compensation Package:

  • Base Salary in the $75-80k range DOE
