Well respected hospitality group is looking for an Executive Chef for a new project in the Southbay. This is primarily a Monday-Friday schedule with the exception of approx 10% out of the year for a 4-5 week annual event where a more flexible schedule is needed. The chef must be familiar with cooking at a high level, all scratch, and enjoys flexing their creative muscle in a variety of ways. 

This role requires past usage and or familiarity with nutritional analysis software and calculating macros for recipes.

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Creatively execute high quality dishes while adhering to nutritional specifications and guidelines
  • Collaborate on items for menu updates as well as special events
  • Manage orders and inventory
  • Maintaining costs of goods and services
  • Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met, including all health department guidelines
  • Constructive, thoughtful communication with clientele and your team
  • Facilitate a positive, respectful work environment

Executive Chef Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience as an Executive Chef, Catering Chef, Commissary Chef, Production Chef or similar role
  • Knowledge of Webtrition a huge plus!
  • Familiarity with nutritional analysis software and calculating macros
  • Exceedingly organized and detail oriented
  • Passion for creative solutions
  • Effective communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Highest standards for cleanliness, health, and food safety
  • Monday to Friday schedule with flexibility, occasional nights, and weekend

Compensation Package Includes:

  • Base Salary in the range of $95-110k
