Neighborhood Italian restaurant is looking for a talented Sous Chef to join the team. The restaurant uses quality ingredients to create simple, unfussy, yet exceptionally delicious dishes. The independent group is growing and this is an excited time to be a part!

Sous Chef Responsibilities:

  • Provide exemplary leadership to the team
  • Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Support Executive Chef where possible
  • Maintaining proper ordering, inventory and scheduling
  • Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen

Sous Chef Preferred Requirements:

  • 2 years past experience as a Sous Chef, Junior Sous Chef or Kitchen Manager
  • Previous experience in an all scratch kitchen required
  • Ingredient-driven Italian experience, with knowledge of handmade pastas and pizza strongly preferred
  • Southern Italian experience a huge plus
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays

Compensation / Benefits:

  • Base Salary of $70-$75k
  • PTO Plan
