Multi-Michelin starred Chef with expanding restaurant group is looking for a Bar Director to join the team! The new concept will redefine high-level dining, and they are looking for a professional, experienced, and creative candidate to curate the bar program and train the team. Excellent training skills, great guest service, and a background in creating successful cocktail & beverage programs is integral. This position will be located in Washington State and relocation assistance is provided.

Bar Director Responsibilities:

  • Research and develop a fresh, creative, and inspired beverage program in line with the overall vision of the business
  • Receive, stock, and inventory liquor
  • Ongoing development and training of team members to ensure growth, knowledge, and professionalism
  • Cost Management
  • Willingness to work behind the bar and be present on the floor as required
  • Ensure consistency and cleanliness of bar and bar program
  • Develop programs/methods to increase efficiency of bar operations
  • Resolving customer complaints and attending to all customer correspondence
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage pairings

Candidate Qualifications:

  • 3+ years minimum beverage experience with a proven track record of leading a professional, efficient, high quality, service-oriented operation
  • Previous 2-3 star Michelin restaurant experience is required
  • Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
  • A sophisticated communicator with high standards of performance together with excellent communication, problem solving and listening skills
  • Passionate about the Hospitality Industry and Guest Relations
  • Ability to work effectively under time constraints and deadlines
  • Ability to create strong relationships with guests, members, and staff
  • Working knowledge of bar operations and core standards, policies, and standard operating procedures
  • Knowledge of Food & Beverage service, spirits & cocktails, creating and developing, cost control, labor control, maintenance, merchandising & accounting

Compensation Package:

  • Base Salary in the $90-110k+ range DOE
