Salary: $120000 – $150000
Rare Private Chef role based in Fort Lauderdale that is primarily Monday-Friday! This person will be cooking for a small family who enjoy high quality ingredient cuisine. While there are no special diets or allergies, the family eats on the lighter cleaner side. The Chef should be passionate about using fresh and seasonal produce, with a positive easy-going disposition.
Weekly menus preferred in the beginning, with the hope that they can essentially let go of the reins after initial introduction period. They are looking for a Chef who enjoys working in a variety of cuisines!
Entertaining is limited to small scale groups (2-6 guests) with notice. Travel is typically up to 4 months out of the year, with the bulk being for 3 months in the summer.
At least one year private chef experience is required (ideally with a family), with a background in chef-driven, James Beard, or Michelin restaurants.
Compensation includes competitive base salary in the $120-$150k++ range with flexibility to go higher for someone with fantastic restaurant pedigree and extensive private cheffing. Medical stipend and PTO included.
