Opportunity to partner with a James Beard award winning restaurateur on a contemporary Italian concept! Looking for an individual that is passionate about fresh-made pasta done in authentic regional styles. While the pastas take center stage, the menu will be ideally be rounded out with grilled proteins entrees and antipasti. Of course, all complimented by a robust wine program!

Executive Chef Responsibilities include:

  • Creating incredible food of the highest caliber
  • Staff Management (scheduling, hiring, training)
  • Effectively Manage Costs and Labor
  • Menu engineering to meet the needs of guest demands, particularly during an opening
  • Leading and mentoring a team in a high volume/high pressure environment 

Executive Chef Preferred Requirements:

  • Live and breathe traditional Italian cuisine
  • Ideally have visited Italy at some point, not required, but strongly preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position as an Executive Chef or Chef de Cuisine of acclaimed Italian concepts 
  • Chef-driven background, James Beard or Michelin recognized concepts a plus 
  • Even keeled personality
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Exposure to high volume restaurants doing 6 MIL+
  • Experience in managing inventory and cost controls

Compensation includes:

  • Base salary in the $120-150k range
  • Bonus potential
