Executive Chef – Highly Creative Concept Miami FL
Salary: $130000 – $150000
An iconic, fun Miami staple is seeking a highly creative Executive Chef to join the team! Innovation and thinking outside the box is a must in this role.
Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with owner on new menu items
- Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
- Hiring and training of culinary team members
- Maintaining proper ordering and inventory
- Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
- Keeping track of new trends in the industry
- Participate in weekly manager meeting and follow-up on assigned ideas and/or tasks
- Communicate with vendors regarding ordering, new product offerings, pricing, and all other product-related issues
Executive Chef Preferred Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in a similar position (Head Chef, Executive Kitchen Manager, or Exec Chef)
- Astute financial leader able to maintain food and labor costs in a seasonal environment
- Passionate and operations oriented
- Love for quality ingredients
- Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety – this is hugely important
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
- California Food Handlers Manager Certification
