Executive Chef – Weekday Operation Los Angeles CA
Salary: $110000 – $125000
Well respected hospitality group is looking for a strong leader for a longstanding location within the company. The role has a number of moving parts, but is primarily quality of life driven, with relatively minimal nights and weekends compared to restaurant operations (and usually scheduled out in advance). Prior Chef in this role was promoted within the group!
Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
- Maintaining proper ordering and inventory
- Controlling costs
- Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
- Communicate with vendors regarding ordering, new product offerings, pricing, and all other product-related issues
- Maintain a positive, work environment via effective, professional communication with other employees and managers
Executive Chef Requirements:
- 3 years experience as an Executive Chef or Catering Chef of a high volume operation
- Any past banquet, events or catering experience is highly preferred
- Early culinary experience in fine dining or chef-driven establishments
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Effective communication skills and leadership qualities
- Experience in managing a high-volume business
- Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
- Flexible schedule including occasional nights and weekends
Compensation Package Includes:
- Competitive Base Salary of $110k-$125k
