Successful, growing SoCal Restaurant Group is seeking a passionate, experienced General Manager to join one of their Italian inspired, fast casual concepts in the greater Los Angeles area. This position is perfect for a strong role model who is hands on, driven, and committed to upholding their hospitality standards. The General Manager must possess an owner’s mentality when operating the business, a strong level of financial acumen, and excellent communication and organizational skills. General Manager Responsibilities:

  • Guiding and leading the team
  • Having a good floor presence and interacting with guests
  • Creating a positive and fun working environment
  • Developing a positive relationship with guests
  • Perform all aspects of the job with a high level of professionalism and integrity
  • Taking ownership of the business to increase sales and profitability
  • Increasing brand awareness by creating marketing plans
  • Setting an example to the team by providing excellent hospitality and service at all times
  • Anticipating needs of the restaurant and acting upon them

General Manager Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-2 years’ experience as Restaurant General Manager (GM) or 3+ years as Restaurant Assistant General Manager (AGM), Food & Beverage Manager, (F&B) or FOH Department Manager from an upscale fast casual concept
  • Restaurant opening experience a huge plus
  • Proven track record in leading and motivating a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Experience in managing P&L
  • Flexible schedule
  • Food Safety Certification
  • Develops relationships with guests to create & maintain guest retention
  • Process driven and able to implement operating procedures that will continue to maximize efficiency

Compensation Package Includes:

  • Base salary in the $75-85k range DOE
