Salary: $75000 – $85000
Are you a talented Sous Chef with a passion for Coastal California cuisine? Renowned Malibu destination restaurant is seeking a skilled culinary professional to join a stable and low-turnover kitchen. Seeking individuals with an appreciation for executing quality food in a high volume environment.
Sous Chef Responsibilities:
- Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
- Leading and mentoring a strong culinary team, including hands on in the kitchen and on the line
- Collaborate with and support the culinary management team
- Proper ordering and inventory
- Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen
Sous Chef Preferred Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in a similar position (Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager, KM, AKM)
- Experience in fast paced restaurants
- Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
- Highly motivated, passionate, and have a strong sense of humility
- Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
- Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
