Inviting neighborhood restaurant with a bistro concept is seeking an Executive Chef to oversee both locations. Part of a small independent restaurant group with a hands-on ownership who knows the industry well. The menu is French inspired and uses simple and fresh ingredients to recreate the basics.

Executive Chef Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with ownership on seasonal and core menu updates
  • Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Train, and develop the culinary team to grow to their highest potential
  • Treat employees and staff with care, dignity, fairness, respect, and recognition
  • Managing and leading the team in cost controls
  • Maintaining proper ordering and inventory
  • Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen

Executive Chef Preferred Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position (Executive Chef, Regional Chef, Multiunit Executive Chef)
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Familiarity with french cuisine
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Experience in managing inventory and cost controls
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
