Modern American restaurant featuring ingredient and market driven comfort food classics with bold, unforgettable flavors is seeking an Chef de Cuisine. Candidates must have a strong foundation in technique as well as basic skills with ordering and inventory. Personality is incredibly important to the team, and the ideal candidate is someone who exudes positivity, creative energy, and can contribute to a positive workplace culture. Looking for a CDC who strives for excellence and is passionate about fresh, local ingredients!

Responsibilities include:
• Creating incredible food of the highest caliber
• Overseeing the full scope of the kitchen on a day-to-day basis
• Staff Management (scheduling, hiring, training)
• Effectively Manage Costs and Labor
• Leading and mentoring a strong team

Chef de Cuisine Preferred Requirements:
• 4+ years of experience in a similar position (Executive Chef or possibly a Senior Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef, CDC)
• Love for quality ingredients and going to the farmer’s market
• Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
• Creative, innovative thinking
• Experience in managing inventory and cost controls
