Executive Chef – Napa Boutique Hotel Napa Valley CA
Salary: $125000 – $150000
Beautiful boutique hotel offering a seasonally driven, local and sustainable menu is seeking an Executive Chef. The restaurant is situated in Napa Valley and provides guests with an unforgettable experience. This is a great opportunity for a Chef to join a unique property with ample room for creativity within Californian cuisine.
Executive Chef Responsibilities:
- Guiding and mentoring the culinary management to provide a first class experience for guests
- Ongoing seasonal R&D to ensure offerings are in line with what’s locally available
- Oversee all kitchen operations including menu development, ordering, inventory, scheduling and other administrative tasks
- Instill safety and sanitation habits in all employees
- Coach and counsel employees to reflect property’s service standards and procedures
- Full budget and P&L oversight for culinary program
Executive Chef Qualifications:
- 3-6 years or more of progressive culinary experience, hotel highly preferred
- At least 2-3 years experience in a senior role in a culinary environment (as an Executive Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine or Executive Chef)
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with people of diverse socioeconomic, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds
- Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
- Must have excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
- Maintain communications with Corporate team and closely collaborate
