Executive Chef – High Volume Restaurant Orange County CA
Salary: $110000 – $130000
Popular beloved family-owned restaurant & bakery is looking for a seasoned Executive Chef to lead the culinary team. Located in Orange County, this landmark institution has been serving its community for many years and recently underwent a beautiful remodel. This is an incredible opportunity to get in with a close family-run operation that has built a long-lasting reputation.
Primary responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the BOH teams and daily operations at each location
- Effectively manage costs and labor – estimate food/labor costs and manage within approved budgets
- Leading and mentoring the culinary team while serving as a role model for all team members
- Ensure that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
- Drive and maintain company culture
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with vendors, staff, and senior management
- Recruit, hire and train various culinary teams
Requirements:
- 8+ year’s experience as an Executive Chef, Executive Kitchen Manager or Head Chef
- High volume experience with operations doing 10 MIL+
- Ability to think outside of the box
- Previous experience in an all scratch kitchen
- Highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a team environment
- High level of attention to detail
- Flexible schedule is required with ability to work weekends
- Bilingual in Spanish
