Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for maintaining proper ordering, scheduling, and inventory
  • Create dishes using only the highest caliber ingredients and executed with precision
  • Staff Management including scheduling, hiring and training
  • Leading and mentoring a strong team
  • Closely collaborate with Executive Chef
  • Maintain a positive, work environment via effective, professional communication with other employees and managers 

Executive Sous Chef Preferred Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position (Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef, CDC, Senior Sous Chef, Kitchen Manager) 
  • Creative, motivated, and positive
  • Has worked in chef-driven kitchens in the past
  • Effective communication skills
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
  • California Food Handlers Manager Certification
