Salary: $90000 – $100000
Beautifully designed restaurant & lounge is looking for a General Manager to lead the team. Located in a top-notch part of town, this hip space is a go-to spot for Happy Hour, celebrations, special events, and nights out with friends. There is a large patio for spaced-out outdoor drinking and dining. They offer an enticing selection of upscale bar bites as well as signature craft cocktails, wine, bubbly, and beer to sip on!
GM Responsibilities:
- Managing costs
- Guiding and leading the team
- Having a good floor presence and interacting with guests
- Creating a positive and fun working environment
- Developing a positive relationship with guests
- Taking ownership of the business to increase sales and profitability
- Increasing brand awareness by creating marketing plans
- Setting an example to the staff by providing excellent hospitality and service at all times
- Anticipating needs of the restaurant and acting upon them
GM Requirements:
- Prior GM level experience in upscale, full-service restaurants required
- Nightlife experience a plus
- Union experience a plus
- High-volume, fast-paced experience
- Strong knowledge of financials, COGs, EBITDA
- Proactive and can take initiative
- Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
- Strong leadership
- Comfortable working with a wide variety of clientele
- Ability to work late nights
Salary: Competitive base salary
