New restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles is in need of a General Manager to oversee the opening process and lead the team. This exciting new full service project will be open for brunch, lunch and dinner and is anticipating a fall opening. Looking for someone with strong financial acumen who can also foster a culture of valuing employees and caring for guests. Ready to hire!

GM Responsibilities:

  • Oversee pre-opening process
  • Hire and train new team members
  • Establish company training standards
  • Develop and implement new standard operating procedures
  • Managing costs
  • Guiding and leading the team
  • Having a good floor presence and interacting with guests
  • Creating a positive and fun working environment
  • Developing a positive relationship with guests
  • Taking ownership of the business to increase sales and profitability
  • Increasing brand awareness by creating marketing plans
  • Setting an example to the staff by providing excellent hospitality and service at all times
  • Anticipating needs of the restaurant and acting upon them
  • Be knowledgeable of restaurant policies regarding personnel and deliver prompt, fair and consistent corrective action for any and all violations of company policies, rules and procedures.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements


  • New restaurant opening experience preferred
  • Minimum 3+ years AGM/GM experience
  • Proven track record in leading and motivating a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Experience in managing P&L
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
  • Food Safety Certification
  • Be able to stand/walk for long periods of time
  • Develops relationships with guests to create & maintain guest retention
  • Process driven and able to implement operating procedures that will continue to maximize efficiency
