World famous chef driven institution is seeking an Executive Sous Chef! Incredible opportunity to join an iconic restaurant that features seasonal and luxury ingredients. Fans of composed plating are encouraged to apply!

Background in James Beard, Michelin, or other acclaimed concepts is required. 

Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for maintaining proper ordering, scheduling, and inventory
  • Creating prep lists for the staff and oversee BOH team
  • Working cleanly, efficiently, and with respect for ingredients 
  • Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes, portioning, cooking and service standards 
  • Keep equipment clean and in excellent working condition 
  • Motivating the staff and providing exemplary leadership to the team
  • Maintain a positive, work environment via effective, professional communication with other employees and managers 

Executive Sous Chef Preferred Requirements: 

  • 3+ years minimum experience in similar role (Chef de Cuisine, Exec Sous, Sous Chef, Senior Sous Chef) 
  • Love for unique, quality, locally sourced ingredients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment  
  • Passion for both food and guest satisfaction
  • Ability to effectively oversee Managers  
  • Highly motivated, passionate, and have a strong sense of humility
  • ServSafe certification
  • Flexibility in scheduling including working nights, weekends, and holidays
