An iconic, fun West Hollywood staple is seeking an Executive Chef to join the team! This is a great opportunity for someone that wants to grow into a CDC with time. 

Executive Sous Chef Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for maintaining proper ordering, scheduling, and inventory
  • Create dishes using only the highest caliber ingredients
  • Staff Management including scheduling, hiring and training
  • Leading and Mentoring a strong team
  • Working cleanly, efficiently, and with respect for ingredients
  • Coaching and developing the team
  • Effectively Manage Costs and Labor
  • Ensures adherence to all recipes guidelines to provide consistent quality, proper presentation technique and food safety standards
  • Maintain a positive, work environment via effective, professional communication with other employees and managers 

Executive Sous Chef Preferred Requirements: 

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar position (Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef) 
  • Creative, motivated, and positive
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience in managing a high-volume business
  • General knowledge of expense control as it relates to kitchen payroll and the forecasting/budgeting of expenses
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
  • California Food Handlers Manager Certification
