RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensures adherence to all recipes guidelines to provide consistent quality, proper presentation technique and food safety standards
  • Train new and existing kitchen staff on the preparation, arrangement and plating of dishes per the current menu  
  • Ensure all team members adhere to culinary standards
  • Maintain proper inventory
  • Cross-train kitchen staff on multiple stations
  • Effective management of labor and food cost controls

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience in a management role
  • Background in working with seafood and steaks preferred
  • Highly organized and detail oriented
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience in managing a high volume business
  • General knowledge of expense control as it relates to kitchen payroll and the forecasting/budgeting of expenses
  • Technical literacy, including Microsoft Office, payroll management and point of sale systems
