High-end Westside steakhouse is looking for an Executive Chef to lead the culinary team. The restaurant is a part of larger hospitality group and has plans to expand. The ideal candidate will have chophouse experience overseeing 6 MIL+ operations and a firm grasp of managing costs. There is room to grow into a multi-unit role and press potential!!

Executive Chef Responsibilities:x

  • Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
  • Proactively managing costs and budgets
  • Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Maintaining proper ordering and inventory
  • Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen

Executive Chef Preferred Requirements:

  • Past experience as an Executive Chef, Corporate Chef or Culinary Director overseeing a steakhouse with at least 5 MIL in volume
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Previous experience in an all scratch kitchen
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Expert knowledge and fully fluent in P&L, managing inventory, and cost controls
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
