Established restaurant group is looking for a West Coast Corporate Chef to helm the culinary team and continue cultivating their growth and success across 4 locations. The restaurants are all beautifully designed and high-volume featuring two different concepts. Candidates must have high-volume experience and a keen acumen for execution is critical. The restaurants operates like a finely tuned machine, and training will be provided for the Corporate Chef to learn the organization’s procurement systems, core menu recipes, company culture, and other administrative functions.  This is an excellent opportunity for a highly experienced, passionate person to join a revered group!


Individual will need to be based in Los Angeles and available to travel to the different locations on the West Coast, along with periodic trips to the East Coast to visit corporate.

Primary responsibilities will include: 

  • Recipe development (R&D) for new and existing concepts
  • Ensure all products served meet or exceed company high standards and all regulatory food safety guidelines
  • Overseeing the BOH leadership teams and daily operations at each location
  • Proactively examine costs and labor
  • Drive and maintain company culture
  • Recruit, hire and manage various culinary teams for new and existing concepts
  • Liaise with culinary teams to develop and implement new ideas based on customer feedback
  • Willingness to take on other tasks as assigned


  • 2+ years as Corporate Chef, Regional Chef, Culinary Director, or VP of Culinary Operations for an upscale and/or fine dining hospitality group or comparable operation
  • Previous experience working with highly regarded restaurant groups is highly preferred, as is experience in midsize growing groups
  • Ability to think outside of the box
  • Passion for innovation and staying on top of current industry trends
  • Highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a team environment
  • Experience with new restaurant openings is a huge plus!
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Flexible schedule is required as is ability to travel
