Stunning steakhouse is looking for a Chef de Cuisine that is well versed in chops as well as high volume. Ideal candidates should be coming from operations doing at least 10 MIL with a firm grasp on managing both people and costs. 

Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:

  • Support and assist Executive Chef with leadership of operation
  • Participate in hiring and training of culinary team members 
  • Maintaining proper ordering, scheduling and inventory
  • Day to day management of kitchen and team
  • Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
  • Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen

Chef de Cuisine Requirements & Preferences:

  • Past experience as a Chef de Cuisine leading a high volume operation of 10 MIL volume OR Executive Chef of a 8 MIL+ operation
  • Excellent communication skills and leadership qualities
  • Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Previous experience in an all scratch kitchen
  • New restaurant opening experience is a plus
  • Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
  • Knowledge of P&L, managing inventory, and cost controls
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays

Compensation / Benefits:
