High-end Westside steakhouse is looking for a Chef de Cuisine to join the culinary team. The restaurant is a part of larger respected LA group and is actively growing!
Chef de Cuisine Responsibilities:
• Provide exemplary leadership to the team
• Proactively managing costs and budgets
• Ensuring that all food meets the highest standards of quality and consistency
• Maintaining proper ordering, inventory and scheduling
• Ensuring best practices for safety and sanitation in the kitchen

Chef de Cuisine Preferred Requirements:
• Past experience as a Chef de Cuisine, Senior Sous Chef, or similar role in an 8 MIL+ restaurant — OR willing to consider Executive Chefs from a smaller 5 MIL+ operation
• Extensive exposure to working with steaks and grill temperatures, past steakhouse isn’t required as much as actually having worked with chops
• Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
• Previous experience in an all scratch kitchen
• Exceptional standards for cleanliness, health, and safety
• Flexible schedule, including weekends, and on holidays
